Has a historical-botanical feel, on a lush, creek lined property with ancient looking stone-work inside and out.
-Situated perfectly on the Scenic Loop just inside Hill Country and just outside San Antonio city limits.
-Old Town Helotes, Flores Country Store, and numerous wedding venues are minutes away.
-Has direct routes to places like Boerne, Bandera, and other hill country locations, yet you have all the suburban amenities (restaurants, HEB, Costco, retail stores, etc…) minutes away, and all urban attractions, such as the Riverwalk and the Airport, within 30 minutes.
We welcome small intimate gatherings - The Evelyn Rose has been the site of many baby showers, wedding showers, girls weekends, small graduation parties, one wedding rehearsal, and we even had a guest propose to his girlfriend! By his account it was a perfect venue for the occasion, and she said "yes"!
We have also hosted a corporate strategy retreat, and have been the site for two on-scene locations for a TV commercial production and a corporate training video series. Either way, as you can see from our reviews here and on other booking platforms, we care deeply for our guests, and the property.

The Grounds:
-1.5 acres overall with a parking area for the primary house guests and a larger gravel parking lot for additional guests.
-5,000 square foot grass back yard
-2 remotely controlled, and one manual gate provide access to the property
-300 foot long, 6 foot high stone wall along Scenic Loop Road provides ultimate privacy
-The Evelyn Rose is not part of a subdivision
-Helotes River runs along the eastern border of the property (it’s called a river but it is actually a creek)
-Entire property is fenced or walled in
-Outdoor stone pavilion for your use
-Gorgeous up-lighting throughout, has the ultimate night-scene ambiance
Guests have access to the entire property within the fencing/walls with exception of a closet for additional supplies inside the house. The north field is off limits to foot traffic and vehicles. We are returning that field back to nature to help boost our local ecosystem.
Some Additional Notes:
-The property and house are not 100% child-proof but we did strive to make it kid friendly. The creekside is fully fenced and locked, and the inside of the house has safety locks on some of the drawers and cabinets. We have one high chair, child utensils and place settings too.
