Kia Ora is a newly built, four bedroom, two storey house with hot tub on elevated section overlooking O' Carroll's Cove and Kenmare Bay. It is two minutes walk from a safe sandy beach, pub and restaurant. Kia Ora has a large open plan, well equipped kitchen/dining room with French doors leading to to a patio/BBQ area and large lawn. The kitchen leads to a cosy sitting room and on to a sun room with an entrance leading to the hot tub room. There is a downstairs queen size bedroom and WC. Upstairs there is a large en suite queen size room, a double room and a twin room. The main bathroom is also upstairs. Electricity and oil are extra charges by units used on meter. Wifi available payable by PayPal to local provider. Kia Ora is situated just off the beautiful Ring of Kerry road halfway between Waterville and Sneem. It is located on the Wild Atlantic Way, The Ring of Kerry, The Kerry Way and in the Kerry International Dark Sky Reserve It is 3km from the charming village of Caherdaniel and overlooks the Kenmare Estuary. It is two minutes walk fron Glenbeg strand which is a very safe sandy beach. It is ideally located to explore this spectacular part of Ireland. You can visit the wonderful beaches of Derrynane, Rath, Reen and Castlecove. Derrynane has a safe natural harbour where the watersports centre is located. It is a blue flag beach. Nearby you can visit the home of 'The Liberator' Daniel O' Connell and Derrynane National Park. There is a daily boat to Skelligs world heritage site from Derrynane. Staigue fort and Caherdaniel fort are close by. Golf courses at Waterville and Parknasilla are 20 minutes drive away. Walking on the Kerry way is highly recommended.
