About this space:
Relax with the whole family at this comfortable, spacious cabin close to Colorado Springs. At the base of Pikes Peak Highway, this cabin offers the classic Colorado experience. Large enough for a group of 9 yet cozy enough for a couple to getaway. This is a perfect spot to unwind after a day enjoying everything the area has to offer like Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, or Pikes Peak. It's a Colorado mountain Cabin that's near beautiful sites yet peaceful and quiet. The space: Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is the perfect spot to accommodate you as you explore the Pikes Peak Region. Kitchen, bath and a private suite on the main level along with 2 more bedrooms and a 4 piece bathroom upstairs offers space for everyone. Laundry room on the upper level is free and available for guest use. There is plenty of parking and outdoor patio space for your relaxation. The kitchen has a large fridge, electric range and everything you need to make a cup of coffee or cook a meal.
Much of this cabin has the classic Colorado rustic style with modern renovations for your comfort. There is a brand new hot tub.
Guest access: Our neighborhood is a mixture of residential and vacation homes such as this.
Just like the full time residents, guests come here to enjoy the peaceful beauty and rustic charm of the Pikes Peak area in Colorado. You can see more of the area by researching Cascade and specifically, Green Mountain Falls. This home is easy to get to but we recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle in all seasons. There is off street parking for 2-3 vehicles in the driveway.
Other things to note: It is important to note that although we are minutes from the city in either direction, the neighborhood itself has a very remote feeling.
House Rules: The reason why we have a beautiful vacation home for you is because previous guests have taken such great care of it. Please continue this trend by following these rules:
- No smoking indoors (Please clean up debris if smoking outdoors)
- Awesome for families, friends, and trips. NOT suited for loud gatherings or parties. We love our neighborhood, live nearby, and quiet hours are to be respected.
- No pets. No exceptions
- No parties or events
- No outside fires are permitted (This violates house rules, HOA rules, and sometimes, county law)
- Please make sure the outside trash bins are secured properly
If any guest is found in violation of the rules, we reserve the right to issue fees to cover damages or terminate your booking.
For security, there is a Ring flood light camera on the outside of the home near the front door.
Cell reception reception will vary based on provider. High speed Xfinity internet is provided. There is abundant wildlife, including a family of deer that often make our front yard their resting place.

Summary: The house was very cute and very clean. It had all of the items needed for a short get away.The hosts were very responsive and let us even check in a few hours early. The only constructive criticisms was that there was a slight smokey smell and some of the baseboards and other finishing features of the home were missing in certain areas. Thank you for letting us stay!
