Summary: Family of 6 - grandparents to children ages 7 and 8, had a really nice time. The location is the best. Loved the property, the privacy, pin drop quite yet a short drive to town and all the action. The ranch style is great with everything on one floor. Kids really enjoyed the game room. However I’d recommend certain maintenance items that if managed during turnovers - would’ve got me to leave 5 stars. But a few things like the jacuzzi water was too low and those jets not usable as a result. The water level should be checked between guests and filled up accordingly. When we came home after a long hike at Enchanted Rock we were looking forward to a relaxing jacuzzi. So this was disappointing and if we were to fill it up with the hose, the water was too cold and took too long to heat up. So that was a big miss. The primary bath had one sink basically inoperable. The water would trickle out the left sink and you couldn’t do much with it so there was one usable sink. A bummer. There were various light bulbs out and all but one candle in the fireplace had working batteries. Would’ve been nice to have this feature but no luck. The fire pit was a nice feature. However the propane tank was not hooked up properly and had a tiny bit of gas left. Not full as promised. My dad managed to fix it and got it working. Without him we wouldn’t have been able to use it. There isn’t any instructions on it either. This would be helpful. Communication was minimal and lagging from host.
