This cozy cabin on over 5 wooded acres, is the perfect setting for your mountain getaway. This charming vacation home is built for a romantic escape with your honey, or for families ready to explore the Blue Ridge. Enjoy peace, privacy, and Big-Woods ambiance.
This rental offers comfort and convenience inside; nature appreciation outside. There's lots of decking and an expansive lawn, with woods behind and on the sides. The home's inviting open floorplan facilitates entertainment and togetherness. You'll love snuggling up near the gas-burning stove and watching TV, reading a book or sipping a beverage. The great room includes attractive and comfy furniture, as well as a wall of windows to enjoy the natural setting.
The spacious kitchen is designed to make you feel at home and includes a coffee bar. There's also a dining table for six off the great room and by the gas stove. The main level bedroom, with a queen-sized bed, is located in the sunroom off the living areas. There's also an oversized loft with king size bed, full over twin bunks, and two full-size, recently renovated bathrooms, one on each level.

Experience the High Country
The Getaway has a convenient location, with easy access to the towns, venues and activities that attract people to the High Country. The North Fork of the New River, just a short two minute drive away lets you enjoy fishing, swimming and tubing. Nearby outfitters are eager to hook you up with everything you need if you don't want to bring your own equipment. This peaceful and slow-moving river is scenic and safe for all ages. This is the second oldest river in the world, and is one of few flowing northward, toward the mighty Ohio.
The closest town is Lansing, known for its quaint buildings, Lansing Creeper Trail Park, Molly Chomper Cidery, and music venue Primavera Roadhouse.
A short 20 minute drive to West Jefferson which offers shopping, antique stores, art galleries and dining. This is small-town Americana at its finest. You can watch cheese being made at the Ashe County Cheese Factory, grab a movie, or attend the farmers market on the weekends.
From the cabin you can also access the Virginia Creeper Trail, Grayson Highlands State Park, as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway.
