This 100 sqm | 1076 sq ft charming three-story home is in the heart of the serene small village of Latour de Carol in the beautiful mountainous region of the Pyrénées-Orientales in southern France near the border with Spain. While it’s a relatively small town, there are several attractions and activities you can enjoy in and around the area, and the home features all the amenities you’d need for a nature-filled, soul-rejuvenating stay!
The home features beautiful wood flooring, wood-beamed and vaulted ceilings with skylights, comfortable furnishings, lots of natural beauty, an enchanting lush green garden, and stunning mountain views.
The main spaces:
- A LIVING/ SITTING ROOM on the main floor with direct access to the yard and features a cozy sofa and chair and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels for relaxing downtime moments at home. Open the doors to let in the fresh mountain air!
- A FULLY-EQUIPPED KITCHEN with all basic appliances and the cookware that you’d need to prepare food at home. Plus, extras like a Moka coffee pot to get your day started with a fresh cup of coffee! Plus, a dishwasher for easy cleanups!
- A DINING AREA in front of the glass door to the backyard features a lovely table that can seat everyone for relaxing, sit-down meals with laughter and good conversation.
- 3 BEDROOMS, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration, 1 FULL BATHROOM on main floor & 1 HALF BATH on 2nd floor to accommodate 7 guests as such:
BEDROOM 1: 1 Double/full bed, main floor
BEDROOM 2: 3 Twin beds (1 bunk bed & a floor mattress), 2nd floor w/half bath just outside the door
BEDROOM 3: 3 Twin beds (single sofa bed, twin bed & floor mattress), 3rd floor

The property is about a 2.5 to 3-hour drive (210 km | 130 mi) from the Barcelona Airport (BCN). It's important to note that travel times can be longer during peak traffic periods, so if you’re driving, consult your mobile map apps!
Alternatively, there are public transportation options available to travel from Barcelona Airport to Latour-de-Carol. One option is to take a train from Barcelona-El Prat Airport to Barcelona Sants Station, which is the city's main train station. From Barcelona Sants, you can then take a train to Latour-de-Carol - Enveitg Station. The total travel time via train can range from approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hours, depending on the train connections and schedules.

Please note that there is a €5 euro daily electricity fee during colder months from October to April.
There is no daily housekeeping service, but you can request to have the place cleaned for an additional fee. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange it.
Guests must climb stairs at the property.
Pets are allowed.
All food items are removed after each guest checks out.
We collect a security deposit of €300 euros that will be returned to you at checkout, provided there are no damages or broken items at the property after your stay.
Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed inside the home, and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a €350 euro penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music is allowed after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the property's ground.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are allowed.
Interaction with Guests:
Please confirm your arrival time 24 hours in advance. Check-in time starts at 4 pm. Someone will meet you there to show you around and provide you with the keys. If you are arriving after 10 pm, just note it is €40 extra euros per hour for any check-in after 10 pm.
