Summary: The house was accurate to the photos, but when we did check-in, the house wasn’t as clean as I hoped. The floors were a little dusty, the handles on the fridge were not the most pristine, the hand towels in the main upstairs washroom weren’t clean, the mirrors were streaky, and the toilet seats were broken. During the day and in the afternoon, there were noise complaints, and we weren’t home. As well, one night, I did have guests, and I did mention it to Kemi prior. She was well aware and ok with it; there was a tenant in the basement, which I was unaware of, and claimed there was a party all night which was inaccurate. instead of contacting me, Kemi went straight to contacting VRBO to cancel our reservation over false noise claims and a “party.” The house was lovely, and my family and I enjoyed ourselves, but between the cleanliness and the communication, it could have been better.
