Our 6-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home includes a newly-renovated lower level apartment, with 2 bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, and separate entrance leading to a new patio, fire pit and hot tub. Perfect for large groups to enjoy some privacy during their stay.
Located 30 mins from Hunter, and 45 minutes from Belleayre and Windham Mountains; walking distance to hiking trails; 10-minutes from the great towns of Saugerties and Woodstock, which boast great food, art, music and shopping.
The space
Drive up our long circular driveway to our 2100 square foot split-level home with front and rear decks. The main-floor living area is comprised of an open floor plan living, kitchen and dining areas with a slightly vaulted ceiling. The main-floor dining room sliders open up onto our large rear deck, complete with dining table and seating for 8, as well as gas grill. Upstairs from the main level, you will find four bedrooms (1 master bedroom with a king bed and a half bath, and 3 bedrooms with queen beds), as well as a full bathroom with double vanities and tub. Downstairs from the main level, you will find a newly-renovated 2-bedroom (one king bed and one queen bed) apartment with a full bath, with stand-up shower, rain head, shower wand and bench, as well as full living and kitchen areas leading out to a rear patio and fire pit with Adirondack chairs and hot tub. The house has forced air heat, plus mini split units throughout for additional comfort and temperature control.
Guest access
A vehicle is necessary to access and fully explore this beautiful area. An all-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended during the winter months, when snow accumulation can be abundant. There is room for 4 vehicles to park comfortably directly in front of the home, with additional parking available along the long circular driveway leading up to the house.
Other things to note
No pets allowed, as owners are allergic. Please remove shoes when inside the house. You must climb six steps either up or down from the main level to access a bathroom. Downstairs apartment with separate entrance is also accessible from the main house; perfect for groups who are seeking unity with some privacy during their stay. New high-efficiency washer and dryer available in unfinished basement for guests who stay one week or more. There are five televisions [(1) 75" (1) 65", (2) 55" and (1) 32"] located in the living areas, king bedrooms and in one of the upstairs queen bedrooms upstairs; streaming only; no cable. There are no bathrooms located on the main level.
