Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The apartment is in a leafy suburb of Berlin and it was an easy half hour trip by train to Berlin central. The apartment is fairly new, spacious, with modern double glazed windows and electric shutters that did a great job of blocking light. There’s a large supermarket a short walk away, near the railway station and some nearby restaurants.
Negative: The apartment was not clean. My wife found some cleaning supplies and cleaned up the mouldy shower floor. The wall rack for shampoo etc. was on the floor; needs mounting on the wall or replacing. There was only one roll of toilet paper for our 4 day stay and we searched for the backup supplies but there was none. I swept the entry path but the downstairs entry door needs a clean. The kitchen was not the cleanest either. Cleanliness is #1 and this place was a let down. There was a coffee pod machine: Great. 😊 But no pods to go with it. ☹️
Summary: Modern, convenient, spacious but needs a good clean.
