Qualicum Beach….EXPERIENCE ISLAND LIVING! This rancher is located just steps from Qualicum BEACH on a quiet dead end street and is ideal for couples, seniors or families with small children. A great central location to enjoy the famous SANDY shores of Qualicum Beach with great walking and biking trails close by and many ATTRACTIONS, activities and excursions in the area.
We have two comfortable bedrooms, both with queen sized beds; both newly renovated with new flooring, nautical shiplap and fresh paint plus a large children's PLAYROOM/BEDROOM with two sets of CAPE COD BUNK BEDS. There are two bathrooms, one with a vintage clawfoot tub and the other has a shower.
The newly renovated LIVING room is large with a river rock gas fireplace and there is an antique oak dining room table with six chairs in the dining room. Full LAUNDRY room with a washer and dryer for your use during your stay as well. The KITCHEN is well equipped with everything you would find in your kitchen at home including a microwave and a new Bosch dishwasher and no shortage of dishes and cutlery.
New this year is AIR CONDITIONING throughout the home! The home received upgraded insulation to keep the home warm in the winter and cool in the summer but on those sweltering hot summer days, air conditioning will be a welcome addition!
The RANCHER sits on a large beautifully landscaped, fenced lot located just a block from two popular RESTAURANTS as well as a convenience store.
Enjoy exploring the tidal POOLS or the adjoining sandy beach where you can bring down your BEACH CHAIRS and spend hours helping the kids build SANDCASTLES! Like our family, dozens of other families have been enjoying making lasting HOLIDAY memories on the sandy shores of Qualicum Beach!
Many of our GUESTS return year after year! We've had families return from as far away as Singapore, Texas, Winnipeg and Calgary.
Having children ourselves, we have thought of everything. Your summer retreat includes many extras such as:
Beach towels, sand toys, board games, several bicycles, books, lawn chairs, BBQ, beach umbrellas, marshmallow sticks and firewood and kindling for a beach fire! (When permitted.) There is even an outside hot water tap to wash off the sand after a fun filled day at the beach.
The outdoor BBQ makes evening cooking easy and meals are relaxing eating outside at the covered PATIO TABLE.
We are just 35-40 minutes from the Nanaimo ferry terminal and a five minute drive up to the town of Qualicum Beach.
We are within the boundaries of the town of Qualicum Beach so enjoy the town's water system and you do not have to bring in drinking water.
Unlike other vacation homes, condos or hotels, this VACATION HOME is truly set up with everything you would need for an incredible RELAXING stay near the OCEAN and is full of nautical character throughout the home. The home well kept and immaculately clean.
