Break away from the grind in this beautiful wooded mountain home. In our 4-bed, 3-bath chalet we can host 11 people comfortably in 6 separate beds. 10 minutes from Woodland Park and only 30 minutes from Colorado Springs, you have the best of both worlds - a quiet, wooded mountain home that has great access to internet, cell service, and modern amenities. An hour from the top of Pikes Peak, situated at 9,155ft elevation, the hiking, fishing, skiing, hunting, and snowshoeing opportunities abound.
This mountain chalet is in a rural mountain neighborhood full of quiet half-acre lots in the woods. Wildlife and views abound! Deer, turkeys, foxes, and a host of mountain bird species can be seen from any point of the 360 degree wrap-around deck. Get some fresh air, chop some firewood, and cozy up next to a warm wood fire in our wood stove while you watch the stars through the picture windows of this house.
Inside you'll enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with dining sets and table space for 12, comfortable hybrid memory foam beds, and cozy fireplaces in all common areas. We have Roku smart TVs on each of the TVs for you to access all of your comfort content with your own logins during your stay. You are also welcome to use either of the gas fireplaces or wood stove. during your stay.
Outside, you have access to views from any direction thanks to the 360 degree wrap-around deck. We also have a private balcony off the master suite on the second story. We have dining tables on the deck as well for a quiet dinner with friends and family. Towards the bottom of the property you'll find a firepit where you can relax under the stars while listening to the sound of fire crackling on a cool mountain evening.

Summary: The house was amazing! It was very spacious, clean, and the perfect house to spread out and have a relaxing vacation. There were several things to do within driving distance, and the nearby towns were quaint. We would definitely stay there again!
