With multiple living areas and comfortable furnishings, you will find our home incredibly relaxing and homey. Enjoy the hot tub for the ultimate relaxation! Bring your bikes or rent them locally and take advantage of the 10 mile bike path in South Nags Head. For those rainy days or the evenings, we have you covered with an expansive movie library, variety of books, fun games and flat screen TVs with Roku remotes and DVD players located in EVERY room. You won't want to leave, but if you do, we are only a few miles away from restaurants, ice cream, shopping, fishing piers, and mini golf. Summary: One of my main goals for any beach vacation is to catch at least one sunrise and sunset. At the Salty Wahoo, we saw both—every day! Just go out on a deck and they’re right there for you. And the stargazing at night is phenomenal. This has to be the cleanest, best-stocked rental we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. We brought our usual armament of supplies because I didn’t trust the listing, but the owners thought of everything. No last-minute runs to the store needed. The only snafu we had was getting the grill to work. In all fairness, we shouldn’t have waited until the burgers were ready to go on to check it, and the owners were responsive when I messaged them about the problem. Thank you so much for providing a comfortable home base for a much-needed relaxing getaway.
