Positive: I stayed in room 22, it was clean, relatively spacious en suite room, freshly smelled bedroom, equipped with necessities, good wifi signal, good heating, very comfortable bed, very nice staff in the reception, always happy to help. They gave me a ground floor apartment as per my request due to my knee injury. They let me have a free of charge early check in. Thanks for that. They also provided me with the missing hairdryer and extra toilet papers as few were initially left in the room. Good breakfast options even for vegetarians, great location a variety of supermarkets nearby like Lidl, REWE, ALDI all approachable by walking. It's only 6 min walk to Echterdingen Station which is one stop by S Bahn to Stuttgart Flughafen/Messe where I needed to go to everyday for a conference.
Negative: No trash bin in the bedroom! (only one in the bathroom) and seems this is what the hotel offers (would be great to put one). There was a strange unpleasant chemical like smell in the bathroom although it looks very clean. There was only three power sockets im the room so I needed to move the fridge next to the bed to turn the TV on! Last point to mention for light sleepers like myself. The room is not soundproof so you hear the cars noise in the main street if you are in room 22. Also the neighbours were so noisy not respecting the quiet night time rules. I woke up from sleep due to them talking over the phone in midnight time. Despite these points I didn't like, I gave a rate of 8 which is grater than the current one as it was a comfy stay overall.
