About this space
Rustic yet refined, this tree-top creek-side cabin offers an ideal get-away for multiple couples or families. Located in the gated community of Coosawattee River Resort, this 3,000 s.f. get-away offers three floors of living space on nearly an acre of land.
The space
Tastefully decorated with high-end furnishings, the main level offers a leather reclining sectional sofa, a stone, gas fireplace with 65" Smart TV, fully equipped kitchen with an adjoining dining area, a half - bath and a master suite with a king size bed it's own full bath and an adjoining laundry room. The top floor loft serves as a living space for it's two bedrooms, each with a king size bed, along with a shared full bathroom. The bottom level is a family room/game room setting with another large screen TV, a comfortable sectional, a shuffleboard table, full bath, and a bedroom outfitted with 2 sets of bunk beds - two twins and two full size plus a trundle.
Outside sights and sounds include: a wood burning fireplace on the back porch; the always babbling Mountain Town Creek; a creek-side firepit and inner-tubes for floating; an abundance of deer due to the no-hunting rule; corn hole; darts; a large gourmet gas grill; comfortable Adirondack chairs and views of the creek and trees tops - no neighbors across the way. Relax on the bottom deck in a brand new hot tub!

Summary: Communication was quick from the onset of booking. The listing was accurate & the home was clean, w/ attention to detail. It boasts tasteful decor, is nicely equipped for a large family/group, & has well-suited furnishings for this beautiful mountain home. The location w/in the community is about 10 minutes from the main gate, mostly paved roads, narrow, a couple of steep areas, & somewhat windy, but that's to be expected in the mountains. The drive is peaceful w/ more deer than you can keep track of! The home sits on the hillside w/ a flat parking area making it easy to get in & out, load & unload. There's a set of stairs (3 levels) that lead down to the river, providing the peaceful backdrop to this location. Deer visit daily & welcome being fed carrots, apples, & celery to my family's delight. The river (floats provided) & hot tub were two water activities enjoyed daily, while there. There were plenty of board games, a shuffleboard table, & deck games (darts, Jenga, & Hook n' Ring) we enjoyed. The home is situated very close to shopping in Ellijay. We went to the Farmer's & Artisan Market on both Saturdays while there, then shopped in the district & took advantage of local coffee & bakeries. The Tabor House Museum (free/donations welcome) provided a wonderful look at local & state history, which consisted of a guided tour through the two-story home viewing many artifacts & displays. Blue Ridge, Ocoee, whitewater, Duckies, orchards & more close by. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
