The Ferguson House is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Great Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cherokee, Asheville, Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, and Cataloochee Ski Resort. Enjoy the outdoor landscaping with large patio area with a 7-person hot tub, fire pit and enough outdoor dining for 4-8 people. The home offers a four-season sunroom, rockers on the front porch and a well equipped exercise room with weights and a treadmill for those exercise enthusiasts. There is a covered parking area large enough for 4-8 motorcycles or 2 vehicles. The driveway and parking area is motorcycle-friendly and the home is perfect for relaxing and making special memories with family & friends. We love the short-range mountain views off the front porch, the walking distance to Frankie's Italian Restaurant, its proximity to the Maggie Valley Country Club and the convenience to getting on the road wherever your adventure takes you! The home will greet you with a beautifully landscaped patio area. Once inside, you will enjoy a clean, cozy 4 bedroom, 2 bath lovingly updated 1949 home with knotty pine interior and hardwood floors. We provide a fully functional kitchen, gas grill, bath towels, hot tub towels, bed linens including blankets and pillows. We provide enough amenities to get you started. You will need to bring everything you require to have an amazing Mountain Home experience with you. We are a wonderful retreat for multi-generation family get togethers. We have recently remodeled one bathroom to a walk in shower with 2 hand/grab bars. We are not handicap approved, but our guests comfort is important. Although the house is located on the main road into Maggie Valley, it is very peaceful and relaxing. The backyard oasis and the convenient location makes this home a real gem. Modern, yet rustic, family and friend gatherings will be memorable. Three bedrooms have queen-size beds; one bedroom has a twin bunk over a double lower bed. The primary bedroom is equipped with 32" cable television with DISH and DVD player. The fully-functional kitchen has a dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, glass-top range and refrigerator.

The hot tub is located on the patio with views of the private backyard oasis. All paved roads and year round easy access makes this house a dream for families and couples anytime of the year. This is a non-smoking home. We do allow smoking on the front porch and outside and smoke pots are provided. Please do not throw butts in the trash can or in the yard or driveway.
