Just 30 minutes from Fayetteville, AR and Razorback games, each yurt cabin is built on a 40x40 deck overlooking the mountains with a private hot tub on the deck, a queen bed, fully furnished kitchen, a 3/4 bath with a walk-in shower, a utility room with washer/dryer, central heat and air, plus all linens, towels, soap, and shampoo provided. Each yurt has free wifi, a flat screen TV, Blu-ray player, local TV reception, a gas log flame stove, and a gas grill off the deck (gas provided). Our Yurts are designed with "open architecture" with the living room/bedroom areas designated by the arrangement of the furniture. The kitchen and dining areas adjoin the living area with the usual kitchen appliances (stove, refrigerator), plus a microwave, crock pot, coffee pot, blender, all kitchen utensils, condiments (salt/pepper, coffee, sugar, sugar substitutes) and paper products (towels, napkins) provided. The utility room and the bathroom are separate rooms. The bath has a sink, toilet, walk-in shower, medicine chest, towel shelves, and a hair dryer with soap and shampoo provided as well as matching bath robes. In addition to the washer/dryer, the utility room has an iron/ironing board and recycle bins. We do not supply detergent for the washer. On your cabin s deck, in addition to your hot tub, you have a table and chairs from which to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. And you have a gas grill off the deck with all grilling utensils provided if you like to barbecue. The grills are hooked into our main propane tanks, so all you need to do is bring the food you like to cook. Then, weather permitting, you can eat at the deck table overlooking the view, or inside at your dining table. As we say, "Your yurt is yours," but we also have a free DVD lending library with lots of movies in our main office, which is a ten minute walk (or short drive) from your cabin. You have unlimited access to the lending library day and night. StoneWind Retreat is located on a 160-acre mountain top with over a mile of walking trails, numerous stone circles, standing stones, and plenty of other things to see if you like to get out and about. We invite our Guests to enjoy it all--or simply bask in the quiet peace of the cabin. At StoneWind Retreat we value comfort and privacy. Your yurt is yours to enjoy; we are available at a phone call if you need something or have questions. Otherwise you can enjoy the privacy of your cabin, deck, and hot tub. We do check the hot tub chemicals once a day around noon but we come onto the deck quietly, get it done, and leave quietly. You can also schedule a massage from one of our independent massage therapists. Contact information will be in the confirmation message sent after booking. You can also choose to take one of our 3-hr classes in either meditation or qigong. There is an additional $150 fee for any of the classes. The classes are not usually available on weekends; however, you can check at time of booking if you are interested in a class to see if it will be available during your stay. Other things to note We are located on a 160-acre mountain top with panoramic views of the mountains, a little over a mile of walking trails, 5 stone gardens to visit, and multiple standing stones to see. The views are amazing, as are sunsets and sunrises. Our goal is to provide a place where quiet civilization and wilderness meet to create the perfect stress free getaway.
