The beautifully renovated room at The Trailblazer is nestled in the town of Townsend, across from Little River and near restaurants and local artisans. Take a walk, ride a bike, and enjoy the views just outside your room door! Enjoy the fire tables and seating on the lawn or use the grills and enjoy a meal on our deck under the stars!

The Space:
The Mountain Room Unit 6 is equipped with two twin beds, a small refigerator, coffee pot, microwave and starter amenities to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Luxurious linens and design will make you feel as good inside as the views do outside! With almost 300 square feet to enjoy inside, you will be cozy and well rested for your door exploring the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas.

Welcome to the City of Townsend! We are a small, close-knit community surrounded by the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Townsend is one of the three main gateways to Cades Cove, one of the most popular destinations in the Smokies. The Trailblazer is situated off of Lamar Alexander Parkway with easy access no matter the weather (snow won't stop you here!). We are at the base of a mountain with a luxury RV park above us. Minutes away from Coffee Shops, Company Distilling and restaurants, you will find food and beverage for all to enjoy!
Getting Around:
You will want a car to travel, but there are trails and walkways right outside that can be enjoyed. Apple Valley Cafe is a wonderful walkable restaurant, coffee shop and general store.
