Soak in the large hot tub while watching the stars on clear nights high above the Moormans River. The home is 2 miles from a trail head into the Shenandoah National Park and excellent restaurants are available in nearby towns. Close to Monticello and University of Virginia. The home includes a fully furnished kitchen with custom cabinets, granite countertops, double oven, and gas stovetop, ready for the chef in your group. The lower level includes a large flat screen TV and comfortable viewing area which a walk out to the hot tub and swimming pool area. Within 10 miles, you can enjoy White Hall Winery, Stinson Vineyards, Grace Estate Winery, King Family Vineyards, and Pollak Vineyards, with several more just a few more miles away. There are also several local breweries and hard cideries nearby. You can hike into the Shenandoah National Park from a parking lot just 4 miles away, or drive about 20 minutes up the mountain and enter along Skyline Drive. The University of Virginia campus is about a 20 minute drive, and the historic downtown pedestrian mall in Charlottesville is about 30 minutes away. An easy drive to town through horse farms and very minimal traffic. There are several excellent restaurants about 12 minutes away in nearby Crozet, including Fardowners Pub and Smoked Kitchen and Tap BBQ. Don't miss Starr Hill Brewery and Pro Re Nata Farm Brewery also in Crozet. You can reach the Nelson 151 Brewery and Winery corridor in about 20 minutes, where you can find Blue Mountain Brewery, Veritas Winery, Afton Mountain Winery, Wild Wolf Brewery, Bold Rock Hard Cidery, Silverback Distillery, and Devil's Backbone Brewery. The breweries along this route all include excellent restaurants. At the south end of the corridor is Wintergreen Ski Resort. Your hosts are available at all times during your stay, if needed.
