Welcome to Mossrock, a newly built 4500 sq.ft luxury all season retreat located on Redstone Lake just 20 minutes north of Haliburton Village. Known as the 'Jewel of Haliburton', Redstone is a 3-lake chain famous for its stunning scenery and pristine clean waters.
This stunning 4-bedroom, 5 bathroom cottage rests on 5 private acres of forest with 400 feet of waterfront in a sheltered bay that's great for swimming! Your luxury retreat awaits in this year round escape just 2.5 hours north of the GTA.
Mossrock Retreat offers a spacious open-concept floor plan. Granite flooring from the local Canadian Shield welcomes you at the front entrance and invites you into the stunning great room that offers sprawling views of Redstone Lake. The kitchen features a large quartz top island that seats 4 and a solid maple live edge dining table that seats 10. The chef's kitchen is fully equipped to entertain and enjoy the company of your family and friends. There is a sunroom off the kitchen that has heated flooring and some comfy furniture that are great for relaxing after dinner or curling up to a book while taking in the views. The great room has a soaring pine ceiling with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace (gas) with comfortable seating for everyone to gather and watch a show on the 75-inch television. Just off the great room is the first primary bedroom with a 5-piece ensuite, large walk-in shower, a king bed with luxurious bedding, a walk-in closet and a gorgeous lake view.
The upstairs opens to a large loft area overlooking the great room with a seating area and desk for working remotely. Two mirrored primary bedrooms with ensuites, walk-in showers and large walk-in closets are located opposite of each other. The upstairs king bedroom suites have beautiful lake views and all of the amenities you'd expect to find in a luxury hotel room.
The lower level has a well-designed bathroom that is shared by the double bunk room for the kids. A wood burning stove and heated flooring throughout the lower level keeps you nice and toasty on cold winter days. Enjoy some after dinner cocktails at Mossrock Tavern, your own private bar with granite counters, 60-inch TV, leather sofa and a raised bar top that's perfect for playing bartender!
The outdoors is what dreams are made of! You are living amongst nature at Mossrock with the natural beauty of several hundred acres of untouched forest surrounding the property. The area is known for its rolling landscapes and wonderful hiking. The private forest setting on stunning Redstone Lake gives you a perfect getaway from it all. The lake is deep, weed-free and very clean, perfect for swimming and exploring. A stone staircase leads you to the lake where a large deck area and 20'x20' dock invite you to soak in the experience. After a dip in the lake there's a 7-person covered hot tub that's great for any season. Enjoy the large outdoor firepit in the evening to roast the perfect marshmallow and gaze at the incredible stars.
For small groups of up to 6 guests or less we have the 3-bedroom rental. All bedrooms have king beds and private ensuite. It has a separate listing posted on Vrbo and accommodates a small group size for less money than this listing.
