Positive: Friendly staff who were responsive to the complaints we raised during our overnight stay, and kindly gave us a discount, so hopefully all issues will be addressed.
Negative: Long walk to our room, which was in the building behind the main hotel and up 2 floors. Building works going on outside our room throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Door to our room rattled, room smelt stale and the bedding, especially the pillows, had a stale laundry smell. No hairdryer. Had to return to Reception to request one, which was eventually retrieved from another room in the main hotel. Husband’s dinner had cold potatoes which were reheated at his request. Lift not working the morning we left. Compared to other hotels during our trip to Norway, we found this to be poor value, in need of modernisation in many areas and very disappointing.
