3 Bedroom House in Cinque Terre, Monterosso al Mare
Lo Sceriffo is a little delightful artist's house on one floor, in a unique location: inside a large private park, in the places where the poet Eugenio Montale lived, in an exclusive and extremely peaceful setting, surrounded by its own enchanting garden.
Despite the privacy, rare and precious in Monterosso, the house is located less than 100 meters from the sea and 200 meters from shops and restaurants.
There is AC with hot and cold air in all rooms and wi-fi.
Lo Sceriffo has three bedrooms; the master bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom, another double and one single room where an extra bed can be added; all beds and mattresses are new. For the American guests: please note that beds in Italy are usually harder than in USA. There are two bathrooms with showers, a lounge / dining room with a selected collection of books and films, mostly in Italian and English, and a French door that overlooks the beautiful garden in front of the house. In the lovely rear garden there is a convenient laundry room. There is a small, but fully equipped kitchen and a veranda overlooking the garden in front of the house with table and chairs. Deck chairs, sun loungers and a hammock offer every possibility of relaxation. Outside there are also a barbecue and an outdoor shower.
Every year we make improvements; this year we gave the house new doors and windows and new kitchen cabinets.
The house is small and so are the rooms: a cozy, fairy-tale cottage, enclosed by gardens and with a view on the greenery and on the beautiful surrounding villas - the historic Vecchiona and Villa Montale.
Lo Sceriffo is used by the owners during the holidays and is treated with great care and love. It is an extremely intimate and peaceful situation, a unique place for charm and peace.
There is a private parking available, except in late July and August. Parking may be available in these months for small cars and only by prior arrangement with the owner.
In any case, the parking is small and if you have a big car please let us know in advance.
The garden around the Sheriff is not completely fenced, and from there you can directly access the parking lot below and the pine forest above, which is private.
For this reason, if you want to take your pets on vacation, consider whether such a situation is suitable and if so, contact the owners to evaluate the possibility of taking them with you with an INFORMATION request.
Check-in is between 2 and 5:30 p.m check-out is within 10 a.m. There's an extra for the late check-in, according to the time of your arrival.
