Positive: The location of the property is excellent - right in the heart of everything! Many attractions are within walking distance, and the area is full of life. We were initially concerned it might be too noisy due to the central location and some reviews, so we brought earplugs just in case. We only needed them on the first night as we went to bed early - the rest of our stay was absolutely fine. While there’s some background noise and music, it generally quiets down by midnight and we slept well. Communication with the hosts was easy. Their office is located in the same building, and they were very helpful throughout our stay. Normally, check-in is done in person, but since we arrived on Easter Day, we used self-check-in - which was simple and straightforward. On our check-out day, we also used the office to store our luggage before our flight, which was very convenient.
Negative: The main issues with sleeping were more related to the bed and the light. While there are blackout curtains, they don’t fully block the light, so having an additional window covering would make a big difference. We ended up buying sleep masks, which helped. As for the bed, we’re not exactly sure what the issue was, but it wasn’t very comfortable - every small movement made the whole bed shake, which disturbed our sleep. Also, the floor was quite cold, so providing disposable slippers would be a nice touch for added comfort.
