Summary: First impressions are great. The branding and the interiors are spot on. Everywhere looked beautifully clean and the mattress and duvet was slightly softer and more comfortable than those at Mollie’s Oxford the night before. There’s plenty of free parking and of course the diner next door. Good idea to book ahead for a table. The thing that let this stay down was the service. The front desk was perfunctory at best. Annoys me when staff can’t even be bothered to look up from their phones when a guest walks by. Surely, a quick hi wouldn’t be too difficult. The team at Mollies Oxford the night before were the complete oooosite - bubbly, friendly and proactive. Everything you’d expect from the brand.
