3 Bedroom House in Morganton

Newer Lake James retreat with beach access and modern design. Water's Edge v&B Foundry House. The best of lake living with a new modern design and lakefront views. This property offers direct access to the community beach area in front of home, with cozy fire pit and sitting area near the water which are part of the Fonta Flora walking trail, a new public state trail which runs along the waterfront. We encourage potential guests to watch the video that is included in our photos to get a good feel of the property and the layout. New construction offers a modern but casual design to draw guests outdoors. This floor plan offers 2 master ensuites, one on the main level and the second upstairs, a bunk room with private bath on the 2nd floor, and a loft area. The kitchen is well stocked and even has a roll up window to the outdoor bar and patio. We have wireless internet, and 4 Smart TVs. Shuffle board is offered in the loft. There is access to the patio from the living room and master bedroom, as well as a deck for the upper master bedroom. This rental offers great opportunity for the family with small kids who want to wade into the water, swim, kayak or canoe. We have 4 open design kayaks on site for our guests use. It also offers the avid outdoor adventurer a direct access to the Fonta Flora trail and nearby Pisgah National Forest trails, so bring your hiking boots and bikes! Boating on Lake James: our lake allows all types of boats and rentals are available through private companies, just ask our manager for a list. We are in a protected area of the lake, and although we are technically a waterfront lot, we do not have a dock. However, boats can beach in about 1 to 3 feet of water directly in front of this property on the community beach. Our property is managed by a local company and they are happy to answer any questions that you may have about our rental or the general area of Lake James. We are one of the first homes to be built in our community and are excited to join the vacation rental program! We hope that you will enjoy the peaceful experience of Lake James and the surrounding area, and make us a favorite place to return and recharge!
