Positive: Great location; very peaceful neighbourhood with a good mix of all sorts of people (couples, families with kids, singles, tourists, etc.) Loft was roomy enough for 2 of us. Also has cooking stove, fridge, microwave and bread toaster All basic stuff (utensils, toiletry, etc.) was made available
Negative: The loft is in the 5th floor of the building, with 15-18 steps per floor. So, it's a 60-70 step climb each way. I personally did not have a problem, but it could be an issue if you are not physically fit. The bedroom inside the loft is upstairs, with another 7-10 steps on a very steep ladder. This could be a problem unless you are physically fit. This could be just my account, but I had a bit of an issue communicating with the landlord via booking.com. My messages were not going through, while the landlord's messages came through. The number mentioned in the booking confirmation is of the building maintenance person. He was very helpful, but had to relay messages back and forth. This is not ideal if you need an urgent response (which I needed only once, but the maintenance person helped to sort it out). I stayed for 7-10 days and it would have been helpful to have someone to ask Qs of, re: the facilities in the apartment / building.
