Quiet side street in Farringdon in Central London, 5 minutes walk from Farringdon station and also Chancery Lane tube station. Stay here to be in the heart of London but away from the crowds.
The house is set out over 4 floors, with a cool, loft-style living space on the top floor for maximum light and a view over London roof tops.
Architect-designed and added to the building in 2015, the third floor living space is where you can cook, eat and relax at the end of a busy day touring the city.
Here you will find the fully-equipped kitchen, dining table with 6 chairs, large flat-screen TV with satellite channels, dvd player, xbox and comfortable seating.
The kitchen has an oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and lots of cupboard space. On the worktop you will find a kettle, toaster and cafetiere. Inside the cupboards are cups, plates, cutlery, kitchen utensils, saucepans, large serving plates and baking trays; everything you need to make a family supper and eat in.
The lounge seating is comfortable and gives everyone a good view of the TV (and xbox). A window seat looks out on to the mews below, perfect for reading, checking your emails (you can pick up our wi-fi throughout the building) or just watching the London sky.
The first floor has a large bedroom with en suite shower-room. A king size bed (5 feet wide) and a single bed that converts from an armchair means that this room can sleep 3 people. It has a TV and hairdryer.

Upstairs to the second floor you will find one bedroom with a double bed which can be split into two single beds. With bedside tables with reading lamps and hanging space for clothes, it looks out to the mews below.
The third bedroom has two single beds, bedside table, chest of drawers, hanging space for clothes and full length mirror.
All bedrooms have large windows to let in lots of natural light during the day and each is fitted with black-out blinds to stop the sun from waking you too early in the morning.
The family bathroom is on the second floor and this has a bath (small) and separate shower cubicle. Underfloor heating and heated towel rail ensure that you'll be cosy and warm. We supply all bath and bed linen and if you stay for longer than 13 days, we'll send a cleaner in to change the linen and towels and do a quick clean up.
The house will provide you with guide books, an A-Z map book of London and a selection of novels with London as the backdrop. We also have a folder of information with our recommendations for local restaurants, supermarkets and general advice on getting about and living in London.
The ground floor is split between the utility room with washing machine, ironing board and clothes dryer and the garage.
The garage is suitable for one modestly-sized car. Your car cannot be more than 430cm in length or wider than 220cm. Please do not bring your car if it is larger as there is no on-street parking in Farringdon and car parks charge around £25 per day.
This house has seven sleeping spaces but the maximum occupancy is six adults. We accept bookings for seven people from families with children. We like to keep our neighbours happy, so no parties please.
This an allergy-friendly home; the floors in each room are wooden and the stairs are not carpeted. There are no curtains, just blinds on the windows. We provide good quality feather pillows and quilts, but we can replace these with non-feather bedding if required. Please mention this when you book.
London is a great city to walk around and you will be able to walk to many of the major sights from the house or take a short bus or tube ride. London is not a compact city and its attractions are fairly spread out. No single property can be easy walking distance to the Tower of London in the East and Buckingham Palace in the West. But here in Farringdon just to the North of the financial district, you are within 30 minutes walk from St Paul's Cathedral, the British Museum, Covent Garden, clubs, bars and restaurants of trendy Hoxton and Shoreditch and the shops, theatres, museums and art galleries of London's West End.
Farringdon itself is part of old London. 5 minutes walk away you'll find the medieval St John's Gate, the Order of St John Priory Church and its 12th century crypt. But London doesn't stand still and by day this is a bustling area of town with trendy cafes, a street-food market, London's jewellery quarter on Hatton Garden and a good number of cool restaurants and bars serving the after-work crowd throughout the week.
When the office workers have left for the day, the area quietens down and so while you are in Central London, close to all the shopping hot spots and must-see attractions, you can relax in the evening and sleep soundly.
Or you can stay up all night; the clubs and bars of Hoxton and Shoreditch are 25 minutes walk away.
The nearest tube (metro or subway) stations are Farringdon on the Circle line and Chancery Lane on the Central line. But you can walk to some of the major sights eg St Paul's Cathedral in the financial district (the City of London) is 15 minutes walk away.
