Located 3.5 miles from downtown and along Aska Road, you'll be close to all the action of Blue Ridge. This modern farmhouse cabin has plenty of room for everyone to relax and refresh for the next days' adventures. Outdoor living on two decks with seating and dining areas and a firepit for evening s'mores. Kids will love the arcade and indoor 'camping' space.
This family friendly cabin nestled on a ridge overlooking the mountains of Blue Ridge, Georgia has two living spaces, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and three decks with long range mountain views. The cabin is accessed via paved roads and has parking on gravel in front of the cabin and garage that can accommodate four vehicles total.
When you walk in you will immediately feel at home in the open concept main area. A large farmhouse dining table with banquette seating welcomes you on your right. The well stocked kitchen with wrap around countertop is to your left. As you come inside further you'll see the living room with the sectional sleeper sofa that can fold out to a full bed. Additional seating is provided with a black and white buffalo plaid settee. The smart TV and its streaming apps can be accessed with an Amazon login or DVDs can be watched using the HDMI input. Continue walking straight and head outside to the first deck. There are a sectional sofa and chairs to your right for lounging and enjoying the view or a table with bench and chairs to your left for outdoor dining.
Returning back inside, the main floor also has a bedroom with a queen bed and walk-in closet. A Vizio Smart TV with Amazon firestick with streaming apps accessed with an Amazon login is mounted on the far wall. The main floor bathroom is just across the hall with a tub and shower and full size laundry in the closet. Additional blankets and sheets can be found above the laundry
Upstairs in the loft is a second bedroom with a king size bed and large closet. On the far wall is an Amazon TV that has Hulu, Disney+, Netflix, Apple TV and other streaming apps accessed after logging in. Outside is a small deck with long range views of the mountains, a perfect place to sip a morning coffee and enjoy the sounds of the mountains. Just off the stairs coming up to the loft is a desk and chair - a small dedicated workspace to finish up last minute work emails before starting your outdoor adventures or to work remotely. The full bathroom off the loft is an oasis with a clawfoot tub (tub only, no shower) made for relaxation.
Heading downstairs to the ground floor is a second living space with a fold out couch that has a full size bed tucked away inside. A fourth Amazon TV is located above the storage cabinet. Here you will also find a DVD/Blu-ray player connected to the HDMI input for family movie night. Inside the storage cabinet are some family games and books. Off this living room is the third full bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo.
On your way down the hall from the bathroom you'll see to your right an under stairway closet that has been converted to a kids' lounge area. Made to resemble a camping area under the stars there are pillows for relaxing and some board books for the little ones. This area is illuminated with a motion sensitive LED light that can also be switched on and off. At the end of the hallway are the last two bedrooms. The bedroom to the right has two twin beds and a large closet with extra pillows and a cornhole game for outside. The bedroom to the left has bunk beds with a full bed below and a twin bed above.
Don't forget to go outside to the ground floor deck! Here you will find the grill next to the outdoor lounge space made up of Adirondack chairs and rocking chairs. The outside firepit is next to the grill and is the perfect spot for making s'mores! The Adirondack chairs can fold up and easily be transported so you can relax and enjoy whichever space you prefer.
