Welcome to MK Hideaway, a cozy and secluded retreat in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. This 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom getaway offers the perfect mix of comfort and tranquility. The main level features two well-appointed bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed, and a full bathroom for convenience. Upstairs, you’ll find an additional living area—perfect for lounging, watching TV, or playing games—along with two more bedrooms and a second bathroom, providing plenty of space for everyone to spread out and unwind.
Step outside and take in the peaceful hillside surroundings. Enjoy a soak in the private hot tub, gather around one of the multiple seating areas, or cook up a feast on the propane grill. Whether you’re sipping morning coffee with mountain views or stargazing at night, the outdoor spaces are designed for ultimate relaxation and connection with nature.
At MK Hideaway, we take pride in providing a clean and comfortable experience. Our team deep cleans and refreshes all linens between stays to ensure your comfort. Guests enjoy 24/7 assistance, so we’re always just a message away if you need anything. For your convenience, non-emergency maintenance is available on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m making your stay as smooth and worry-free as possible.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The primary renter is REQUIRED to SIGN the Renter`s Agreement before checking in. This document comprehensively outlines the rules, policies, and terms governing your stay with us. By signing, you acknowledge and commit to adhering to these regulations throughout your tenure at our property.

Cancellation policy
- We offer free cancellation or a 100% refund of the amount payable if you cancel 30 days before the check-in date. If canceling, we will charge a processing fee (to cover credit card processing and administrative fees).
- We do not allow any services or experiences to be hosted or conducted on this property, including third-party bookings made through the OTA's Experiences platform.
- Any guest who attempts to host or bring an OTA-related service or experience onto the premises without prior written approval may have their reservation cancelled immediately without a refund.
Other House Rules:
1. If any issues arise during your stay, it’s essential to communicate with us promptly. Good communication between the guest and host is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful stay. You should respond to us (the hosts) within 24 hours when we reach out to resolve an issue. In certain situations, we may need to send our case manager to review the situation in person to fully address any concerns.
Maintenance aside from emergencies will only be able to be tended to during business hours, 8am-5pm.
2. It is a `must` to read the entire listing description and the house rules of our property. If, in this case, you DO NOT read over our listing description or house rules and are not comfortable with something that is clearly stated, we will uphold our cancellation policies.
3. For hot tub:
- The hot tub is regularly maintained after every guest`s check-out. However, if you leave it partially filled with dirt and trash scattered around, a fee of $350 will be imposed to cover the cost of draining and refilling the hot tub, as charged by the hot tub company.
- Children are under constant supervision and are never left alone. Diving, jumping, or frequently entering and exiting the tub should be avoided. Any damages will be incurred by the guest.
4. No unregistered guests/visitors unless preapproved
5. Please keep noise to a minimum after 10PM and always be respectful of the neighbors.
6. No parties or events unless previously organized in writing with the host. If there’s evidence of a party or event, there’ll be an additional charge of $200.
7. For noise complaints:
7.1 If we receive any noise complaints from neighbors, a security guard will be called out to the property at a cost of $85 to guests for the first call-out.
7.2. If security is called a second time during your stay, you will be charged a $250 fee and be removed from the premises with no refund of your stay.
8. No smoking anywhere in this house. If we find evidence of smoking anywhere in the house, you will be charged $300 for extra cleaning.
9. Follow state laws when using a fire pit. Please make sure not to leave fires unattended.

2. Wash dishes/start dishwasher
Note:
* A $200 extra cleaning fee may be charged if the home is left unreasonably dirty and requires more work than usual to clean (for example, mud on the couches or pet hair on furniture/beds ). All damages will also be charged to the guest.
* Check-out time is scheduled for 10:00 am on the day of departure unless previously agreed upon with the host. If the guest is more than 90 minutes late checking out, the guest will be charged $200.
* Any costs incurred by the host as a result of a late check-out will be passed on to you.
* This mountain cabin may have icy or slippery roads in winter, even if maintained. All-wheel drive and winter tires are strongly recommended. For evening check-ins, please be aware that there are no city lights, and roads will be dark. Drive slowly and exercise extra caution when going up the hill.
