It is centrally based, the next main village of Cromford is only a 10min drive with the excellent Greyhound Hotel which services fabulous food, and if you love wondering around second hand books, The Skargill Bookshop in Cromford is the place to go, also hosting a Vegan Cafe at the top. Matlock Bath, Matlock and Bakewell are all within easy driving distance. I personally prefer Matlock with its independent shops and cafes, the Mad Hatter serves pretty amazing food and Milkshake creations, and of course the Derbyshire countryside and fresh air!
