Our large but cozy house is a perfect getaway for a family reunion, holiday meetup or an intimate wedding. Placed on the back of a quiet 5 acres, you have a full acre to yourself with an expansive lawn, fire pit, and wrap around porch for the perfect vacation. Stargaze the expansive night sky under the tall whispering pines or take the short walk or bike ride to visit our quaint little western town. The house is located on a working Equine facility, which is not open to guests or to the general public. The riding that happens onsite is a part of Mission Troopers Equine Program. The Program is a pilot program for children and grandchildren of Veterans, and is local to Mission 22 Headquarters in Sisters, Oregon. Program participants receive horseback riding lessons at no cost. Riding is proven to build self-confidence, improve coordination and balance, and increase focus. By staying at our unique rental, you will be helping to fund this amazing program. 100% of the profits from your stay go to making this possible.

We at Mission 22 have created support services for Veteran families to be sources of strength when Veterans need it most. Our comprehensive programs, from Recovery + Resiliency to the Mission Troopers Equine Program, provide tools for long-term healing.
While staying at our property you will have access to our walking trails that allow you to walk by the horses and on your way to town. We are just a short walk from Sisters. Sisters is home of the Sisters Rodeo on the 2nd weekend of June, and the famous Sisters Quilt Show on the 2nd Saturday in July, which is the largest outdoor quilt show in the WORLD. Our tiny town has a great variety of antique shops and unique boutiques to fulfill your shopping cravings, and an amazing food scene! Local food trucks are scattered throughout the town and the restaurants all have their own unique flare. There truly is something for every appetite to enjoy.
The surrounding outdoor activities range from rock climbing at beautiful Smith Rock State Park, to fishing our MANY lakes and rivers, and exploring our expansive mountain bike and hiking trails. There is plenty of room to roam in and around Central Oregon and we can’t wait to host you!

Please note: our Equine Program Manager lives onsite and next door to the house. She is NOT the contact for any of the needs that may arise while you stay onsite.
