"mini" (160 sq ft) is one of two private tiny house rentals on a 1.34 acre lot in a modest, quiet, residential neighborhood 2 miles from marion's cute main street. prior guests state mini is small but mighty w everything needed for a great stay! the outdoor fire pit + front porch expand the space. mini is a perfect base camp to explore the many trails, rivers, mountains, lakes + cute neighboring towns! if u want bigger+outdoor tub, check out "mac" ! mini is situated in a modest, quiet, residential neighborhood 2 miles from marion's cute main street. marion is a growing, friendly, kinda sleepy town that is a great vantage point for numerous outdoor activities in the area. mini is tiny but mighty and has all the essentials! to know mini is to love mini, sorry to be corny, but it's true. mini has a brand new queen tuft and needle original mattress, so google that to see if it sounds like your kind of bed. the front porch and outdoor fire pit add expanse and the 1.34 acre provides privacy. please note that the "work space" provided is simply a tv tray table to put a laptop on. a mini desk! :D the internet is strong! the bluetooth speakers in the ceiling are a fantastic feature and can be controlled with your smart phone. the smart tv is a samsung tv plus which comes with 160 channels. amazon prime is available and you can also log in to your own various streaming accounts. a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, corded water kettle, mini french press and mini coffee maker are on hand. ground coffee and creamers are provided. Guest access mini + fire pit+ mini's half of the acreage. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE to be sure mini is a good fit for you: taking a shower in mini ... most importantly, one must restrict the flow of water for a hot shower. (turn only the hot faucet and only about 1/4 of the way and let it get hot) 1. turn the big lever to the left and the hand held nozzle little lever down and towards the wall - this will make the flow of water come from the shower head only. 2. turn on only the hot water and RESTRICT THE FLOW (when running full speed ahead it won't get hot) and let it warm up, once hot, add cold as needed but turn it just a titch if you do use cold and step away from the stream of water until you get the desired temp. 3. baths, unfortunately, aren't very practical in mini. the faucet is set too high and thus creates a splash-tastic mess once there is a bit of water in the tub. you are more than welcome to try, of course, just be forewarned. it also takes a good ten minutes or more to fill the tub. shampoo + conditioner is provided in volume in an effort to be eco-friendly. shower body wash gel is provided in place of single soap bars, so if you need bar soap, be sure to bring it along. liquid hand soap is provided. mini has a queen tuft and needle original mattress. please note that sometimes the exterior solar strings lights take the night off and refuse to come on. rain sometimes interferes with them. it's random and not common, but just so you know! be sure to enter the zip code (28752) into your navigation as there is an identical street address in spruce pine and you don't want to be misdirected there! HOUSE RULES no smoking or vaping in or on the premises no parties or events 2 adult guests maximum at all times - no unregistered guests/visitors no pets or children at this time quiet time 10PM to 9AM nothing goes in the toilet but toilet paper as mini is served by a septic tank
