Travel Purpose: business
Positive: The location was close for the wedding we were attending. The appliances were good, especially the convenience of the washer/dryer and dish washer. The shower and bede' toilet were nice. There was a lot of privacy and beautiful landscaping.
Negative: We had a little trouble checking in: the names of the cottages were similar, and we had the wrong one. The instructions said the owner lived next door, but no one answered the door or voicemail we left. Thankfully we ran into another couple staying there and they explained they had the same issue. They suggested we try all the cottages to see which one our code worked for, which we did. The furniture was uncomfortable, especially the sofa and bed. The bed was a sleep-number bed but only one side was working. The floor was very dirty, my socks turned black from walking on them. It would also have been helpful to have a step stool for the kitchen as many of the cupboards were too high to reach. The bathroom could have used a vent fan.
