Summary: As you can tell from the photos, this apartment is uniquely decorated. So many vacation rentals are decorated with "live, love, laugh" signs and tacky decorations. My friends and I were looking forward to a place with a little fun on our quick stop in Detroit at the end of our vacation. For the very picky travelers out there, the apartment looks exactly like the photos but feels a little more like it's still being worked on than it seemed in the photos. That doesn't affect the functioning, comfort, or fun of the apartment, just an FYI if you're really picky. The purple chair, in particular, was comfortable and would've been a great spot to relax after a day of driving. Unfortunately, it's summer and hot and the air conditioning and fans in the apartment couldn't get it cool enough for my friends and I to be comfortable enough to sleep. We had to find somewhere else to stay. But had it not been so hot, this would've been a fun place to stay. It also would have been an easy drive to any of the places we went in Detroit. And Brittani was understanding and patient with our need to find a different location late in the evening. Her rental would be a unique place to stay in cooler temps or if you're more heat tolerant than me.
