You have found it! Mentone Moore's Mill is one of the few properties directly on The Little River and features some of the best water in the area. Just minutes from beautiful Desoto Falls, the private two tiered-dock allows for fishing, swimming and other water fun. You will see numerous canoes and kayaks and many anglers floating by. Combine this with the beautiful, comfortable 3 bedroom/2 bath cabin, you won't want to leave! Enjoy your day on the front porch overlooking the river!
You are going to be pleased with your space here. All bedrooms are set up for maximum comfort. You have a king sized bed in the master - and a special note there: the King bed is equipped with a Tempurpedic! The second bedroom is a queen with a very comfortable firm, yet soft mattress. And the third bedroom has two full size beds.
The open floor plan allows for welcoming family and friend time in the kitchen and living spaces. Plus, the view is breathtaking looking out over The Little River through the many glass doors and windows.
Now, if getting the working member of the family to FINALLY break free and go on that long needed vacation, never fear. There is an office/library space with a full sized desk, reliable WiFi, but the best part is the view while sitting at the desk! You can stay connected, but feel the stress ease away while finishing up that project. But please, don't stay there long. This is, after all, a vacation!!
Special note to the reader of the family: The library has been stocked with lots of book choices from various genres. Most of us bring our own books, but you may be finishing one, or you may see one you've always wanted to if you wanted to "take one/leave one", you are welcome to do so. Please bring a book to replace the one you take. And please be respectful on what you leave! This is definitely the place to enjoy a good book!!
Since we are directly on The Little River, you may want to explore the area by water, but don't have a boat or the ability to bring your own. Well, we have you covered there as well! We have a canoe and two kayaks including paddles and life vests. Just let us know in a message and we'll make them available to you.
