Saturday mornings, head into New Glasgow to the weekly Farmers' Market for freshly cooked lobster or locally-raised beef, fresh produce, Uncle Leo's Smoked Porter or local wine, as well as homemade breads and pies - everything you could need for a delicious barbecue back at the cottage. Sunday mornings, treasure hunters will love the local flea market where interesting and unique pieces can be found. Finish up your day's adventures relaxing in one of our handmade adirondack chairs around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows under the stars. While there are a number of day trips to enjoy - a winery tour, beautiful seaside drives, visiting local artisans, a trip to Sherbrooke Village are just samples - simply relaxing at the beach with a good book is also a wonderful way to spend the day. Our cottage is fully stocked with towels, bed linens, beach towels, and all the kitchen utensils you could require to create a delicious meal. There are two PS3 systems in the cottage, as well as Netflix and wifi. The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed, while the two other bedrooms are furnished with queen beds. All beds are covered with memory foam toppers, wool duvet covers and locally-made pure wool blankets from the Lismore Sheep Farm (which is definitely worth a visit).
