Summary: First off, ALL the TVs were taken out of the home. I clearly stated I had teens and there was ONE(1) small TV in the home. I'm not certain if they felt we would steal or destroy them, either way, it was an insult. There were wasps everywhere, in the fireplace, at the front and back entrance of the home. In fear for the children being stung, we spent most of our time inside. There were towels in the dryer and not put away in the cabinets in the laundry room. I felt like we had to get the house ready before we could feel comfortable. The house was dusty and there were bugs and many of the kids got bit during the night. Although the house was huge, the dust, the bed bugs, the cheap cookware, to name a few were all disheartening. Nonetheless, I appreciate the owner answering my call although it was a hurricane in the area. It was also sad that we didn't have a choice and had to alter our plans and come on Tuesday versus Monday, because the guests before us didn't leave. We didn't know this until after picking up the 15 passenger van. I ended up paying an extra day for the van that I had not budgeted for, because of this. Lastly, I would have greatly appreciated the bathrooms being cleaned and disinfected. There were rings around the toilet bowl and it was simply disgusting. Beautiful layout but I will never bring my family here again.
