Our home is located in a luxury 4 season resort community of Masthope. It is located 1 mile from Ski Big Bear Mountain where you can enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. You will receive a 25% discount off ski lift tickets for everyone in your group when you book our home. Come enjoy cross country skiing trails as well. We are only a mile from the Olympic Size Pool that has slides, diving boards, and a kiddie pool for all to enjoy. Located adjacent to the pool is a restaurant, outdoor tiki bar, and indoor sports bar, as well as the ski lodge and Ski Big Bear mountain. Masthope Beach, located only a mile from our home, offers free kayaks, canoe, pedal boats, and paddle board rentals. The kitchen has a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, and electric stove and oven. The kitchen is completely stocked with utensils, plates, cups, and pots and pans. The laundry room has a washer and dryer. The home has heat and air conditioning in all the rooms. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 queen sized beds and a television in each room. The master suite is connected to a private master bath. It is also located on the first floor. The two other bedrooms, upstairs, are connected to a full bathroom. There is plenty of closet space in each bedroom. There is a sunroom connected off the dining room with a sliding patio door. The outdoor deck has plenty of seating and an outdoor propane bbq grill. Masthope Mountain is located in Lackawaxen, which is in the northern corner of Pennsylvania bordering New York and New Jersey. Just a two hour drive from New York and Philadelphia, Lackawaxen borders the Delaware and Lackawaxen Rivers until they come together at Twin River Junction just at the foot of the mountains. Historic Milford is only 1/2 hour drive and has many antique stores and restaurants. Enjoy tubing down the Delaware or site seeing for Eagles along the river. Visit Zanes Grey Museum, the water falls at Shahola. The beach is on a beautiful lake. Like all facilities here, it is safe and secure. Community guests only. Lifeguards and security personnel are in abundant supply. At the pools there are 3 restaurants. One of them is an outdoor Tiki bar and grill. The other 2 are full service restaurants. The prices are very reasonable. At the beach, there is an outdoor snack bar and grill. Otherwise, there are charcoal grills available at both the pool and beach for family use. Delaware River: Barryville is very close. So is the famous Robling Bridge. There are plenty of small restaurants nearby. There is a fine steakhouse in Hawley, which is 10 miles away. You must dress. It is a surprisingly fine restaurant for the area.. For adults and kids who love fishing, the lakes are fully stocked. We also have private property on the Delaware River. The Lackawaxen River is a favorite with the locals. Two lakes are each within walking distance. The state park is 5 minutes by car. The reservoir is well stocked. So is the large lake which is 10 miles away in Hawley. Whitewater rafting, canoeing, and kayaking are favorites as well. Although we allow 14 guests in the home, the community will only issue 12 passes for guests to use the pool and beach. They are interchangeable to everyone on your group.
