Positive: Extremely quiet isolated location .. my perception from the information on booking websites that there was facilities available ie restaurant and coffee shop on location that additional charges would be applied ( obviously) , however you must request same prior to arrival.. the bubbles seem to be the largest part of the property. 10 I think in total and 3 rooms in the house ( which is what I booked ) . There is little interaction between the staff and the lady who prepares the food in the kitchen is extremely pleasant however everything is delivered to your room or bubble . In this way it’s a totally different form of hospitality than what I expected. Complete isotopes, no common eating areas and all foods delivered in baskets and hot boxes , at the pre allocated time . Not exactly what I had expected from what was advertised on this site .. Breakfast was plentiful and catered well for gluten free . Thanks to the lady in the kitchen, extremely pleasant and gave me a glass and some ice when requested on evening of arrival.
Negative: I was extremely cautious when I needed to pay additional charges for my dog via a different what’s app which did not come up as the place I booked . Persistent messages to make payment which further increased my concerns as in this present climate of hacking we are all advised to be vigilant in this respect.. was almost ready to forfeit my payment which was non refundable but just crossed my fingers.. and paid . Room was quaint, lighting poor and stairs uneven to get to room , stone floors so highly recommend slippers for your room as stone floors do not help with cleanliness or comfort. Asked if I could have some coffee in the evening. Told by the gentleman that it was only for breakfast.. bring some Dolce gusto capsules if you want a drink .. as no facilities there ! Having just driven through thunder storm and heavy rain I would have appreciated a warm drink .
Summary: Isolation in every sense of the word.. not what I consider to be hospitality.
