Enjoy nature at its best in this comfortable multi level chalet nestled in the heart of one of Margaret River's Karri forests.
This tranquil retreat has three bedrooms. Two have queen size beds and the third has a queen size bed and a single bed, making it suitable for both couples and groups of up to 7 people, including children. Linen and bathroom towels are provided.
You can enjoy your own private balcony with tree top views of natural bush setting and a large entertaining area downstairs. There is also a fully functional kitchen (oven, cooktop, fridge, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc), laundry (with washer and dryer) and bathroom.
Enjoy a BBQ out the back in the peaceful native garden courtyard, perhaps take on one of the many bush walking and cycling trails through the forest, or picnic on the river bank.
There's nearby caves to explore and shops galore all on your doorstep at Margaret River Getaway Chalet. Close to all the attractions: wineries, cafe's, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banking, boutique breweries, galleries, hotels, sporting facilities and world class beaches. This an idylic holiday destination to suit all budgets.

When driving south on Bussell Highway, Willmott Avenue is on your left about halfway through the Margaret River township. Turn left onto Willmott Avenue and drive for about 800m until you reach the lowest point in the road. On your left you will see a sign "Arcadia Chalets". Turn left at the driveway just past the sign. Once you have entered the driveway, chalet 9 is the second chalet on your right. The chalet has a blue balcony.
If you get to the "Riverview Tourist Park", you have gone one property too far.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this property but we were only there for 2 nights and not expecting too much. The location is great (15 Minute walk to the town centre) and the host was great with good coms. However, the property itself is tired and run down: Mould in Shower, ill fitting old kitchen, thick dust at back of shelves etc. Also the layout is not great and cooking and 5 adults eating together is difficult. Also, we had 2 seniors with us and they struggled with the many varnished stairs somewhat. But on two huge plus points for us, we had 28s (very colourful Parrots) landing on the balcony to wake us up in the morning and then 3 Possoms climbing the tree next to the balcony in the evening both of which were wonderful to see.
