Location and Style:
Circa 1800's built former fishermans cottage. Vintage charm and character mixed with beautiful, cosy decor and up to date conveniences. Enviable position on the Quayside in the very centre of the village and amenities. Accommodation is suitable for all ages with little concern. Please ask if you have any specific accessibility requirements. On-street free parking.

Kitchen; fully equipped with with crockery, cutlery, cookware and bakeware etc. Appliances include mini range style convection oven with grill and gas hob, under counter fridge and seperate freezer, washing machine, Tassimo coffee maker (pods provided), microwave and slimline dishwasher (brand new replacement fitted July 2019). Original butlers sink. Plenty of storage and cupboard space plus a larder.

Dining Room: Dining table that seats up to 6-8 comfortably, real wood burner and patio doors leading to front courtyard.
Doors to the stairs for access to the first floor (so can be closed off and no need for a stair gate). Sideboard containing all glassware. Semi open plan to the lounge;
Lounge: Generously sized with feature fireplace. 2 large sofas (each seats at least 3 comfortably) plus separate armchair and large ottoman plus rocking chair.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: The Amethyst Room;
King size bed, bedside drawers, wardrobe and chest of drawers, door to ensuite
Ensuite shower room: *Newly refitted in 2020* electric shower, sink vanity, toilet and towel radiator
Bedroom 2: The Blue Room;
King size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Front aspect so enjoys stunning estuary and sea views
Bedroom 3: The Green Room;
Double or triple room (can be arranged to sleep either 2 people in a double bed or 2 single beds, or 3 people in both), front aspect so enjoys stunning estuary and sea views

At the rear of the property there is a smaller courtyard accessed from the kitchen. It has a gate which provides access from Factory Ope (a pedestrian lane which runs alongside the building next door) This courtyard is perfect for safely storing bicycles, surfboards, canoes and a clothes line is provided for drying wetsuits/beach gear.
Pets
Welcome at Margaret Cottage. We respectfully ask that they not be permitted to go upstairs and into the bedrooms.
Water/food bowl provided.

£20 up to 7 nights, £40 up to 14 nights, additional £20 per part week/week thereafter.
Parking:
Free on street parking in front of the cottage. We have a marked space which we try and retain for guests.
