Newly completed mountain home located in the Cibola National Forest. At 7,800 feet elevation, we have cool nights perfect for restful sleep. There are endless hiking trails or you can just relax on the large screened in deck. Be sure to visit nearby Quarai ruins (13 miles), an ancient city built of red stones which is part of the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Moment. Also visit the little village of Mountainair (13 miles) and shop for art and explore the National Parks museum and book store.

Summary: This place is a gem! Wayne is a friendly host who is responsive and helpful in every aspect. The cabin is very clean, comfortable and it was perfect for our group. We really enjoyed sharing the forest with the deer, chipmunks, turkeys, and especially the Stellar Jays that visit the tree right off of the screened in porch! We also loved the woodburning fireplaces and spent hours watching the impressive night skies around the outdoor one!
