Summary: If you are looking for some peace and quiet away from all the building that is going on in and around Playa Grande, this is it! Casa Madarina is one of a kind. A big beautiful comfy house with great bedrooms and a great kitchen area that is a perfect hang out spot once the sun goes down. The most EPIC sunsets every single night, but don't make the mistake of leaving once the sun goes down. The real show is the 30 min. after glow that happens. Marcia and Oscar are the best caretakers of the house. She is an amazing cook and just an all around good person, like the rest of her family. The entire Playa Grande area is under a huge building boom and that is troublesome for the future. But until then stay at this house and have one of the best beaches in CR (mostly) to yourself! Take the boatride over to Tamarindo for the opposite. We did this once and after an hr or 2, I was ready to leave. Very busy and hot. The daily walk to Taco Star is something to write home about. Until next time!
