Summary: My husband and I stayed at Makani Sands for our honeymoon and it did NOT disappoint! Everyone was so friendly from staff, to the other residents/visitors. The pool area was well maintained, clean, and heated. Plenty of lounge chairs to sit or lay in the sun or shade. Nice shower area to remove sand from the beaches. Bed was comfy and the whole unit was clean and comfortable. The view from the lanai was wonderful and quiet. Turtles come up to feed each day, and the wall against the waves has tons of other sea life. Grilling area was a super nice touch. Lots of things to do in walking distance as well. Only complaint was not having AC, but luckily the breeze through the windows was enough to cool down at night. The toughest part with that was having the bedroom window next to the stairway open, lots of noise. We will be back to enjoy again!
