Positive: The location at Ornos (and Korfos) beach is excellent. Walking distance very close to Ornos and close to everything you might need: bakeries, restaurants, and a supermarket are all within walking distance. There's also a bus stop directly in front of the hotel with regular service to the center of Fira (Thira), which makes getting around really convenient. The hotel itself looks recently renovated, with modern facilities.
Negative: Although the hotel has a modern style and appears to have been recently renovated, it's missing some very basic things — so basic that it's hard to believe they're not there. There's no hand towel holder next to the sink, no rack or hook to hang wet towels after a shower, and no shelf or support inside the shower to place soap or shampoo — you have to leave everything on the floor, which is really surprising and inconvenient. Inside the shower, there was also a large gap in the wall where water from the shower would splash and start accumulating. The shower door doesn’t seal properly, so water ends up leaking out into the room. Also, there was rarely anyone at the front desk. If you arrive and no one is there, it's unclear how you’d even get your keys — which could be a real issue for guests checking in at odd hours. This isn’t a negative or “bombing” review — the hotel is good overall — but it's surprising how many small, simple things are missing. Also, the Wi-Fi is quite unstable and disconnects frequently. I stayed at room 105.
