Positive: Lovely location if you are looking for a quiet , relaxing place. The stone and wood cottage is located at around 1500 metres above sea level in a plateau surrounded by mountains and waterfalls. It has been newly refurbished inside, with all the commodities you would want. It's clean and comfortable. It's cool even in the hottest summer, so if you are trying to get away from the Italian heat this is a good place to be.
Negative: There are no shops in the vicinity and only one restaurant. You need to drive 15 minutes to reach the nearest shop in Arvier. The valley is nice but there are nicer ones in Val d'Aosta, so you will find yourself driving out of the valley frequently to visit nearby castles, valleys or lakes, which adds 15 mins to your journey...but the peaceful and idyllic location makes up for it.
