The Space:
Only 40 minutes from the tollbooth! Its on the higher altitude part of Cuernavaca.
Breakfast included, cleaning and cooking staff available, fresh flowers and a mezcal gift.
The moment you pass the first security gate and arrive to the road that leads to the house you encompass nature to its full with trees and a river that guides you deeper into the property. There is a second private security entrance to the property which gives way into the splendid garden blossoming from banana trees to Ahuehuetes.
Listen to the river, birds and wind.
The house is located uphill from the river to the garden making the property the protagonist. The house living room has three sided glass walls which invite the outside into the inside. There is an interior dining room, living room ( with piano), which opens up to the outside pool. Beautiful kitchen and an outdoor terrace with a living room and a breakfast or dining room table to enjoy snacks and games. The library is located at the back of the house. On the first floor there is a living room and three bedrooms.The main bedroom has a private terrace or back patio.
It is located in the upper part of Cuernavaca so the climate is fresh.

Summary: The house looks even better in person than in the photos. This is truly a wonderful property. It is actually a great architectural find. Marina who helped cook and clean for us was Amazing!! She truly made the stay that much more enjoyable. My children and I really enjoyed hanging out with Marina. This house has all of the amenities one would need. The kitchen was modern and had a great stove and fridge. Best of all it has filtered water at the sink as well as the refrigerator (huge Plus). The pool was such a treat. It was so warm it was like taking a bath. The decorations of the house were amazing. Very well furnished. The only thing that we wish we had was a few fans for nighttime. During the day all of the doors and windows could be opened and it was perfect. But at nighttime the doors and windows would need to be shut because of mosquitos which is typical in Cuernavaca. The location was perfect for us it is in the forest but it is right in town. It is only 10-15 minutes from the center of town. It is Super private and very secure. Marcos who is in charge of maintenance and landscaping was super helpful. We would definitely return to this property next trip to Cuernavaca.
