Million Dollar, Main Channel view of the Tennessee River on Lake Chickamauga, 35 min to Chattanooga. Pet friendly, Large (4000 square feet). The large Covered dock holds 4 boats plus a generous swimming area with stairs to the dock. 7 Bed Rooms. The house sleeps up to 22. We provide all linens and bath towels. All bedrooms are close to the 4 full baths. There are large TVs in the great rooms. Chattanooga's famous 1 GIG High Speed internet with WIFI is available throughout the Resort.
Note: Water is typically full access April-October - This is controlled by TVA. If booking in offseason, very likely water access won't be available.
Lake Chickamauga has been voted one of the top 5 bass lakes in America. Dock your boat inside the covered dock. The dock handles four boats easily. Watch barges flow up and down the Tennessee River. Fish from the lighted covered dock with special nighttime fishing lights illuminating the water.
Entering the Resort into the Great Room, you will be stunned with the 4, 6 foot by 6 foot clear glass panels that overlooks the best view of the Tennessee River that I have experienced personally. The Great Room's TV has High Definition cable. Great Room includes a well stocked kitchen. Convenient Bar, 2 sinks, Gas cook top, coffee maker, and all the accessories and cooking utensils needed are provided. The Master Bath includes a double jetted roman style tub, separate oversize shower, 2 sinks and a separate toilet room. The hall bath has a tub shower combination with 2 sinks and adjoins the Laundry room with 2 dryers.
The Lake Retreat was built taking full advantage of the spectacular river views. The rooms include the main floor Great Room described above, but also includes a Bed Room (Queen), desk and chair and a full bath. The screened porch on the main level includes a built-in natural gas grill. Enjoy morning coffee or watch the kids play in the backyard from the main level covered deck. You can access the back yard and dock via stairs.
There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs. The master bedroom suite has its own private balcony overlooking the lake. It includes a king size bed, walk-in closet, and luxurious bath with double jetted tub and large stand up shower. Double sinks and a separate toilet room complete the Master bathroom configuration. The second bedroom upstairs has the full view of the lake and includes a queen size bed and over sized closet. The third bedroom upstairs is configured as a bunk room with one bunk bed as well as one full size bed; the room can easily sleep four. The latter two bedrooms are served by a full bath located in the hallway that includes a double sink vanity, an adjoining large laundry room with two dryers, a washer, and a laundry sink.
The lake level includes a Kitchenette , 2 Bedrooms, and a Full bath and leads directly out to the covered hot tub area. The Basement game area includes a Sony large screen HD TV, pinball machine, and sliding doors out to the patio. The kitchenette has a large side by side refrigerator with water and ice through the door, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. The largest bedroom has 2 queen beds. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, TV, large closet, and a view window.
There is also large detached bedroom above the garage. It has 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and a futon.
The hot tub area has a large 10 horsepower hot tub and separate outdoor shower as well as a seating area. There is a nice view from the tub. The sun patio is near as well as the covered smoker's porch(or the quiet area). Relax at the end of the day in the outdoor hot tub. Watch activities on the lake from the comfort of the covered porch on the lakeside of the house. Toast marshmallows at the fire pit.
Cool down in the partially shaded back yard or any one of the covered patios. Enjoy a game of ping pong with friends.
There are boats available for rental at a nearby Harbor Lights Marina. Enjoy the million-dollar view of the Tennessee River and Lake Chickamauga. Swim, fish, or just lie in the sun.
