Positive: Wonderful peaceful location with great views overlooking country side and out to distant sea. Quiet location yet very close by car to amenities such as shops and supermarkets. Good nearby restaurants. Good showers, lovely pool and good Wi-Fi.
Negative: Nothing apart from no shade for car. Sewage pipes in Portugal in rural areas are smaller meaning toilet paper has to go into a bucket to avoid drain blockages but that just means you have to adapt.
Summary: sunny Alportel hill views.
