It’s unique, a throwback to a different Hamptons. Set up to enjoy the best part of Long Island’s Ocean Front, the cottage is totally private and gorgeous. Landscaped and well thought out as our home to yours. Built for comfort and fun. We’re WIFI-ed, BlueTooth-ed and Sonos-Fied. We stream and download. We stay cool inside; or build a fire indoors or out. We’re on the Ocean; and we’re on the Bay, too. We walk to the beach on our own private path. The cottage offers wonderful outdoor living; amazing sunrises and sunsets with some of the best natural lighting in the world. Dubbed "the Honeymoon Cottage", it has brought us nothing but joy over the years. Best suited for a family or couple. Our cottage was built in 1932 on a small private drive south of highway 27 and sits by itself in the dunes and pine forest along the Atlantic Ocean.The cottage is beautifully furnished, has an awesome country kitchen, is fully air-conditioned, and has a great wood-burning fireplace. It has been lovingly maintained and upgraded year after year. The grounds are lovely. Rental includes all utilities; plus maid service, grounds maintenance, trash pick-up and spraying for mosquitos/ticks with environmentally-safe and affective product, each service performed weekly. Located East of Amagansett on the Napeague Strip, this cottage is an inholding in Napeague State Park (Dune and Wildlife Preserve). The ocean is in your backyard, with miles of private and pristine Atlantic Ocean beachfront. Incredible sunrises and sunsets with views of Ocean and Bay. In the dunes, off a private lane South of the highway through the Napeague Stretch, it has tremendous views of Napeague Bay, Lazy Point, and the Ocean. Surrounded by Napeague State Park, a 1364 acre dune preserve abundant with native wildlife and vegetation, there is a private path leading from the cottage to the quiet White Sands Beach bordering the park. Lazy Point and Napeague Harbor offer an entirely different environment from the ocean side. The Bay side teams with wildlife and is a wetland haven for birds and waterfowl, especially Ospreys. The cottage is turnkey. Equipped with plenty of patio and lawn furniture, beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and towels. There are three beach bikes. The cottage has two lovely bedrooms on first floor, each with two twin beds, and spacious upstairs master bedroom with queen bed, all with high end mattresses and fine linens and Egytpian cotton bath sheets, one Full Bath on main floor plus an OUTDOOR SHOWER. Fabulous dune-top patio with hammock and loungers, dining table and chairs, great view of both the ocean and harbor. There is a Weber Gas Grill, a patio fully shaded with old growth junipers, outdoor dining table and chairs seating six. Sonos wifi music inside and out.
