Positive: Spacious area and big enough for 9 pax. It was snowing when we arrived and the surrounding was covered snow. Simply beautiful!
Negative: The path from the house to the pavement road was covered with snow of about 18” height. We were stuck in the house for about 7 hours. The owner gave us a shovel after lunch time for us to clear the road ourselves. My children accidentally crashed into the bed side foldable table and broke one of the table leg while adults were busy clearing the snow. Owner charged me 50NZ for the repair! Not the owner’s fault but owner could probably be more understandable to charge less instead of 50NZ! The heater in the master room is not warm enough. TV control did not work.
